Mobile X-Ray

Pacific Coast Medical Services (PCMS) is at the forefront of assisting physicians in senior facilities by offering on-site X-rays. All services are covered by Medicare, Medi-cal and private insurance. Our diagnostic X-ray services enable seniors to have an exam without incurring the cost and inconvenience of traveling to an outside facility. Our goal is to provide services that can save and simplify lives.

Feature and Benefits of Mobile X-ray

Multiple Modalities
In conjunction with our state-of-the-art X-ray equipment, we utilize rare earth screens to assure the highest radiographic quality.

Our electrocardiogram equipment is self-interpreting as well as reviewed by our cardiologist. We run two tracing reports, one that becomes a part of the patient’s chart and one for our records.

Equipment: Cardioline Digital ECG

All written reports are phoned and faxed daily by our office staff.

PCMS uses New Mexico Software’s XR-Express, a web-based teleradiology picture archiving and communication system (PACS) that allows medical providers access to vital patient information.

The XR-EXpress system gives doctors the ability to examine medical images (X-rays, etc.) and view current, as well as previous, reports via the Internet. Utilizing the JAL – Digital Imaging Capture System, medical images are captured as high-resolution digital files, tagged with patient information and stored. With access to XR-Express, medical professionals can diagnose a case from their computer – cutting the critical time it takes for a patient to receive their results. Previous cases for a specific patient may be accessed at the click of a mouse.
